Your role:

As a quality developer in the Kankberg mine, you have a central role in ensuring and developing the quality of our processes. You work closely with production, maintenance and engineering to identify areas for improvement and initiate measures that strengthen the business. By taking your own initiatives and prioritizing efforts based on the needs of the business, you drive the quality work forward and act as an important link between different functions. Your team:

You are part of a team consisting of technicians and supervisors in production, mining and rock mechanics. The role involves broad collaboration within the organization and many interfaces. In the daily work, you work closely with production technicians and supervisors to develop and improve quality work in the mine. You report to the Production Manager.

Your tasks:

• Collect and analyze facts together with production and maintenance.
• Identify quality deficiencies and propose improvements.
• Coordinate improvement initiatives and quality efforts
• Overall responsibility for blast storage according to current regulations.
• Ensure material availability for drilling and loading.
• Lead pulse and weekly meetings within the quality work.

Your contribution:

• High school education
• Good IT skills
• Communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Driving license for passenger car.

It is an advantage if you have experience from a coordinating role (for example, leadership assignments / project management), have a bursting license and supervisor training.

More about us:

The Boliden area in the mineral-rich Skellefte field in Västerbotten is where the first gold discovery was made, laying the foundation for a community and our business that has employed several generations of employees. Today, the area consists of the Kankberg, Renström and Kristineberg underground mines. There is also a concentrator and a leaching plant for gold and tellurium production.
