Your role:

As Section Manager for the Electrical and Automation Department in the Boliden Area, you will play a central role in running and developing our business. The department is responsible for electrical and automation in the Boliden area, which includes three mines and one concentrator. You will have overall responsibility for leading, planning and developing the organization, working methods and your employees. In this role, you have a strategic responsibility for developing safe electrical installations with a focus on both personal and operational safety. At the same time, together with your team, you drive the development of smart solutions and efficient working methods in automation and systems technology - all to strengthen our technical capabilities and future-proof the business.

Your team:

You will be responsible for and will lead a team of 18 direct reports, including supervisors, system/automation engineers and planners/preparers. The Electrical & Automation section is organized centrally on the Boliden site and you will report to the Head of Maintenance. In the role, you will also work closely with colleagues within Boliden and you will be part of the Electrical Committee which consists of representatives from all Boliden sites. In the role, you are located in Boliden with frequent travel within the Boliden area.

Your tasks:

• Promote a safe and secure work environment where you plan, lead and develop your employees.
• Create common working methods and ensure that work methods are carried out according to work orders.
• Create the conditions for strategically developing the electrical infrastructure and working with preventive maintenance and maintenance plans.
• Create, install, expand and maintain safe electrical installations.
• Follow up on working methods, hold weekly and monthly meetings, carry out risk analyses and budget work.
• Collaborate with the electricity committee and other electrical and automation departments at Boliden.
• Drive improvement work.
• Participate in procurements and service agreements when needed.

• High school diploma and either a college or university education in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Leadership experience
• Knowledge and experience in electrical power and automation.
• Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• B driving license.

More advantageous if you have:

• Experience in change management and improvement work.
• Experience in systems engineering, electrical engineering, automation or high voltage.
• Experience in the mining industry or other production industry.
