Your role:
We are looking for a driven and independent accountant with good collaboration skills and goal-oriented attitude for our central Accounting function in Boliden. You are proactive, take your own initiatives and are flexible and open to driving change. Your team:
The position is a permanent full-time position based in Boliden. You will report to the Head of Accounting and be part of a dedicated team of six people. Together you are responsible for the central accounting function for all of Boliden Mineral's operations - a mission where cooperation, competence and development are in focus.
Your tasks:
- Be responsible for general accounting
- Perform central reconciliations of the general ledger
- Participate in monthly closing and provide support to other finance departments within Boliden
- Provide support and investigate accounting issues from our internal customers
- Ensure that the accounting function follows applicable principles and regulations
- Contribute to and actively participate in projects to further develop internal processes
Your contribution:
We are looking for you who have an academic or vocational degree in finance, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through relevant work experience in accounting. In addition, you have a few years of experience in qualified accounting work according to the Swedish regulations.
In this position, it is of great importance that you are confident in your competence and have the ability to work independently and drive your own projects. You are responsible, structured and meticulous, and enjoy working both independently and in teams. You have a proactive approach and are positive about driving development and improvement work forward. To succeed in the role, your personal qualities are also crucial, especially your ability to contribute to a positive and effective collaboration within the team.
The role requires you to master Swedish and English in both speech and writing. Since travel to our other sites may occur, you also need to have a B-driving license. It is meritorious if you have experience of working in the Dynamics 365 business system.
