To the maintenance section at the Enrichment Plant
Boliden is a high-tech metals company with its own mines and smelters that work long-term to guarantee society's access to base and precious metals. For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that shape modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future - what matters is how we produce them. Join us and drive change for future generations.
Your role
In the role of short-term planner, you will play a central and driving role in ensuring efficient, safe and long-term sustainable maintenance work. You are responsible for creating a clear and feasible weekly plan for the maintenance department and work daily in Maximo to ensure quality planning, scheduling and follow-up. By leading planning and follow-up meetings, you ensure that resources, materials and risk analyses are in place and that the work can be carried out with the highest possible safety and efficiency.
You will be an important enabler of good workflows and a culture where coaching approaches and employee responsibility are in focus. As you are alone in the role, you will have a great opportunity to influence ways of working, contribute to the development of the planning function and drive change in an evolving business.
The work requires good ability to prioritize, plan and make decisions - even when conditions change rapidly. You actively contribute to safety work through risk analyses, safety rounds and improvement work, and ensure that the necessary instructions and protective devices are in place before each activity.
Your team
You will be part of the "Operational Safety" group, which is part of the maintenance section at the Enrichment Plant. The group consists of processors, maintenance technicians, planners and designers and you report to the supervisor of this group. As a short-term planner, you will work closely with supervisors, technicians, preparers and several functions from the entire organization at the Enrichment Plant.
