To enable the increased production, we need to prepare more orthometers. As a result, we have refined the role of supervisor for locating to optimize operations.

Daily we work towards new improved ways of working and cooperation between the sections to achieve our common goal.

Your role

We are now looking for a supervisor for the underground operation in Garpenberg.

As a supervisor with us, you will have a central role in leading and developing our team. You will work closely with both management and employees to ensure that our processes are safe and as efficient as possible to achieve our goals. Safety and a pleasant working environment are our top priorities. The management role also includes responsibilities in personnel planning, labor law, rehabilitation, performance reviews, salary reviews, skills development, budget, etc.

This role works in pairs with a colleague on the same shift. You have joint responsibility for leading the business forward in the best way. This means that you may have extensive management experience or be very knowledgeable. We will make an overall assessment of capacity and potential, and choose the person we believe will best contribute to the whole of the mine.

The position is a permanent full-time position underground in Garpenberg. Travel may occur in the service. Working hours are 7-7 day/night.


Your team

You will lead a shift team of 16 employees who go 7-7 day/night. The site supervisors work in pairs, you will have staff responsibility for 8 employees.

The shift team is growing, you will have an important role in the design. You are part of the underground production section and will have a wide network throughout the organization. You will report to the Section Manager for Production Underground.


Your tasks

  • Lead and distribute the work in the group
  • Develop employees, processes and improvement work
  • Be present and responsible for the business
  • Participate in daily and weekly planning. execute the plan
  • Responsibility for parts of personnel processes
  • Budget responsibility
  • Ensure clear handovers between shifts


Your contribution

  • High school education
  • Good computer skills
  • Good communication skills both in Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • B-driving license
  • Explosives license A is a merit
