Your opportunity

We are currently looking for a driven and skilled Solution Architect within Server Infrastructure to join our team at Boliden. As a Solution Architect, you will play a vital role in improving, maintaining and implementing technology solutions that align with business objectives by utilizing current and new IT systems whether on-premises or in the cloud.

Who you will work with

This position serves as a bridge between business needs and technological possibilities. Developing solutions and implementation plans and making sure it fits seamlessly into the organization’s overall IT framework while upholding standards for reliability, security and performance. You will be working closely with both internal teams and external partners. You will report to the Section Manager within IT Infrastructure for Boliden Mines.

What you will do

• Work with a talented team of IT professionals who are dedicated to provide the highest level of service and support
• Collaborate and take on a key role in projects with other departments to identify areas for improvement
• Troubleshoot server issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime and disruptions
• Stay up to date with the latest trends within server infrastructure
• Develop and implement security strategies and protocols
• Contribute as a skilled IT-specialist within containers, virtualization and active directory
• Collaborate with external partners to drive improvement and ensure our systems are up to date
• You will mainly work from the office and travel to work on site based on needs

What you bring

• Relevant education in IT infrastructure or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Experience working with container platform is a requirement, cloud native and infrastructure as code are merits
• Expertise in servers, storage, VMware and active directory management
• Good understanding of IT-security
• Good understanding of working in an industrial environment
• Ability to work independently and in cross functional teams
• Agile working methods and excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• A passion for learning and staying up to date with emerging technologies
• Fluent proficiency in English and Swedish language skills are preferred alternatively a willingness to learn
• A valid driver’s license for passenger cars (category B)
