Your role:

The Operations Center Manager has a key role in keeping production together - both in day-to-day operations and in overall planning. The role ensures that the operations center has the right conditions to deliver according to plan, follow up deviations and coordinate efforts in the flow.

You lead the daily management through pulse meetings, planning compliance and operational decisions. You work closely with DC operators, planners, production and other support functions to ensure a safe working environment, high quality and continuous improvement.

You help build a way of working where there is order, predictability and a clear link between plan and reality.


Your team:

The position is a civil servant role above ground with working hours Monday-Friday. You will be part of the Geoplanning department in the Kristineberg mine. The role includes staff responsibility for the DC operators and involves close day-to-day leadership. System support includes Microsoft Planner and MineInfo - a scheduling tool used to structure and plan activities. You will also work with DC operators, production supervisors and other supervisors, the geo-planning function, contractors (when needed) and HR.


Your tasks:

  • Operational responsibility for day-to-day management in the operations center
  • Responsibility for staff management
  • Decision support to DC operators in setting priorities
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
  • Follow-up of production outcomes, deviations and lessons learned
  • Ensure weekly plan adherence to monthly plan
  • Drive improvement work according to the target image Future Kriberg 2027
  • Presence and leadership at daily pulse meetings
  • Coordination with production and other support functions
  • Control of reporting and deviations (daily and weekly)
  • Anchoring, adaptation and approval of the weekly plan
  • Responsible for the weekly production meeting
  • Improvement of standardized working methods


Your contribution

  • Experience in operational supervisory work in a technical, industrial or logistical environment
  • Good ability to plan, prioritize and follow up production and/or operational activities
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working in structure with daily management
  • Natural desire to lead, coach and grow others
  • Prestigious coordinator who sees the big picture and makes things happen
  • Calm and confident in decision making under pressure
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both operationally and in a management context
  • Enjoys change management and improving standards and working methods


Formal skills (meritorious)

  • Experience in planning/logistics/production management
  • Knowledge of mining or similar production environment
  • Basic health and safety responsibilities
  • Experience with systems such as Microsoft Teams, Planner, Pulse Boards, Power BI or similar
