Boliden is a high-tech metals company with its own mines and smelters that works long-term to guarantee society's access to base and precious metals. For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that shape modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future - what matters is how we produce them. Join us and drive change for future generations

As Preventive Maintenance Supervisor, you will be an important part of shaping and establishing a brand new function at the Boliden Processing Plant. The assignment involves being responsible for the development of structure, planning and working methods for a new group. The role combines technical understanding, leadership and improvement work - a context that suits you who appreciate order, development and close cooperation in everyday life. With us, you will contribute to more reliable and sustainable maintenance.

Your role

The work involves establishing and developing preventive maintenance within the Enrichment Plant. You lead the daily work of the team, ensure quality in planning and execution and follow up on completed actions. You work closely with operations and plant owners to plan both short and long-term maintenance, and to enable efficient resource utilization. If necessary, you will reallocate resources and work systematically on improvements linked to the work environment, operational safety and working methods. The role also involves collaboration with external actors linked to service agreements and contributing to the group's skills development. You work during the day.

Your team

Here you will have the opportunity to build and introduce your own team of 3 employees. You will be part of the maintenance section management team together with supervisors, planners and maintenance engineers. You will also interact with external service providers and other sections within the business.

Your tasks

  • Lead and distribute work within the group with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
  • Establish and follow up maintenance plans and weekly planning.
  • Ensure correct reporting of work orders.
  • Plan and collaborate with operations and plant owners on the implementation of planned operations.
  • Manage short-term reprioritization and resource allocation.
  • Interact with and follow up external service agreements.
  • Initiate and lead improvement work in work environment, operational safety and working methods.

Your contribution

  • High school education.
  • Mechanical understanding or experience of mechanical work.
  • Communicative with good knowledge of Swedish.
  • Computer skills.
  • Driving license for passenger car.

Experience in maintenance work, preferably with a focus on preventive maintenance, is valuable as well as experience of maintenance or management systems. A background in an industrial, process or mining environment and an interest in health and safety issues is also positive. The ability to communicate in English and experience in leading or supporting others at work are seen as additional strengths - wherever you have developed them. As a person, you are structured and enjoy planning, creating order and developing working methods.
