Your role:

As a Supervisor for the Mine Construction and Ramp Maintenance department at the Kankberg mine, you will play a key role in leading and organizing the work, where you are responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner. The role includes overall planning, staff planning, coordinating maintenance and prioritizing health, environment and safety at all times. Your team:

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for a dedicated team of seven employees who work either as mine builders or ramp attendants. Your coworkers work underground where 6 coworkers work shifts and 1 coworker works daytime. In the role, you are located above ground but are expected to be partly underground. You will work together to achieve common goals and create a safe and positive work environment where everyone feels included and motivated. In the role of Mine Construction and Ramp Maintenance Supervisor, you will report to the Production Manager and be part of a team with four Production Supervisors, a Quality Developer and a Rock Mechanics Technician. You work daytime and are located in Kankberg.

Your duties:

• Personal responsibility where you lead, plan, distribute and follow up the work of your employees.
• Work with continuous improvements and prioritize health, environment and safety.
• Plan the department's jobs in the maintenance system and ensure that materials are available to perform the jobs.
• Plan maintenance and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with other departments and plan jobs according to the needs and resources of the business.
• Contact with any contractors and suppliers.

Your contribution:

• High school diploma preferably in, for example, construction and civil engineering, industrial engineering or plumbing and real estate.
• Work experience in a relevant field such as construction, water, ventilation, road construction and ramps.
• Experience in leadership.
• Ability to communicate in Swedish and English.
• Driving license for passenger car.
• We see it as a merit with experience in the mining industry or other production industry. We also see it as a merit to have previously worked in maintenance systems.

The number of employees in the Boliden area is currently around 650. In Kankberg we are about 120 people.
