Your role

Being a supervisor on the Preparation Team means, among other things; responsibility for managing daily production, being involved in projects, participating in coordination meetings, collaborating with different departments and contractors. You plan the evacuation of the area and are responsible for evacuation during blasting days, you are also the storage manager for the explosives storage.

As a supervisor, recruitment, development and rehabilitation are essential parts. Special focus is to create the best conditions for the health, environment and safety of employees. Your responsibility is to lead, optimize and develop operations and staff. Administrative tasks in finance, personnel and management systems and short-term planning occur.

The job as a supervisor contains many joys, challenges, and unexpected situations - a varied and fun job. Working hours are shifts K2.

Your team

You will lead a shift team of ten driven employees within the Preparation team. The preparation includes borehole setting, drilling, drilling service, core sampling and loading.

You will work closely with the Production Services Supervisor and will be part of a team of ten great management colleagues.

We are looking for you with good communication skills and easy to create good relationships - both internally and externally. You are a present leader who creates a safe and inclusive work climate and has an interest in driving the development of both operations and employees. You are structured, flexible and have a clear focus on safety.

Requirements:

  • Completed upper secondary education
  • Experience of one or more tasks in preparation and / or leadership experience
  • Good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • Good administrative ability and computer skills.
  • A minimum B-driving license

Experience from blasting work and blasting license are meritorious.
