Your Role

We are now strengthening our organization with a Systems Engineer for the Concentration Plant in Aitik. We have an important mission to ensure that the operation’s processes and facilities function optimally. At the same time, we’re constantly working on continuous improvements to achieve world-class production.

As a Systems Engineer for ABB 800xA, you’ll have a varied and dynamic role where you’ll work with the operation, development, and improvement of our control systems within the enrichment process. The role includes maintaining and optimizing the availability of our system solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Work with the operation, maintenance, and development of the ABB 800xA control system at the plant

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues in the systems

• Participate in projects and improvement initiatives related to automation and system development

• Collaborate with operations, technicians, and other technical departments within the organization

• Contribute to the optimization and stability of our processes and system solutions

• Participate in technical investigations and the implementation of improvements

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent experience, in automation, electrical engineering, engineering physics, or a related field

• Experience with ABB 800xA industrial control systems is highly desirable

• Experience in the process industry or other technically advanced operations is desirable

• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English

• Class B driver’s license (manual transmission)
