Boliden Group Procurement is looking for Tactical Buyers

We have two vacancies, a permanent position and a fixed-term position in 2024.
As a Tactical Buyer, you are part of a team of 11 people. Here, together with your colleagues, you get to contribute and develop new ways of working.
Group Procurement is responsible for coordinating and developing purchases of products and services within Boliden Group's operations in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Ireland. The Procurement Desk is responsible for tactical purchasing within Boliden, which, among other things, means making small and medium-sized procurements. You also support the business in daily purchasing-related matters and, if necessary, you also support Sourcing Managers and Category Managers for larger contracts. You also have daily contact with suppliers. As a Tactical Buyer, you actively contribute to achieving the business goals, with a focus on both short- and long-term activities within the purchasing function.
Station location is Boliden or Gällivare. As the business is spread across several countries, the job involves some travel. You report to the Head of Procurement Desk.

As an employee of the Procurement Desk team, you are a self-motivated team player and you find it easy to collaborate. You enjoy developing working methods and are constantly looking for new effective solutions.
You have a high school education and experience in purchasing is advantageous. The Procurement Desk's common language is English, therefore you need to be able to express yourself well in speech and writing in English and Swedish. You have a driver's license for a passenger car.

Substantial investments are made to reach the target, striving to increase energy efficiency and to decrease the usage of fossil fuels. Boliden wants to set an example for the mining and metals industry to produce minerals with a low impact on nature and climate.
