Your role:

As a person, you are driven, committed and structured. You have a keen interest in technology development and enjoy conducting and implementing improvement work in line with this. You have a good ability to collaborate with others where you contribute with positive energy and joy in your surroundings. To succeed well in the role, it is important that you have the ability to see things from a broader perspective and understand the context.

Your team:

As a mobile machinery technician, you belong to the Operational Safety Group department in Garpenberg, but the role also includes many other contact areas such as the underground maintenance group, above ground, machine owners, maintenance staff, suppliers and other external parties.

Your tasks:

The role includes, among other things, analyzing machines, initiating improvements, supporting more difficult troubleshooting and managing quality deviations. You conduct root cause analysis in collaboration with various functions and groups both internally and externally. We are constantly working on skills development and in these jobs you are technical support. In projects linked to maintenance, you also act as an expert.

The position is a permanent full-time position in Garpenberg underground.

Your contribution:

  • High school education preferably with a technical focus
  • Experience of maintenance work in industry and experience of working with maintenance systems
  • Knowledge of the maintenance process
  • Experience of improvement work
  • Good communication in both Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • B driving license
  • Experience of working with the Office package (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).

Advantageous is:

  • Post-secondary education in maintenance
  • Experience from UH heavy vehicles
  • Experience in leading projects
  • Experience with Maximo
  • Experience with lean
