Your role

As a technician, you play a key role in ensuring that Rönnskär’s communication and security systems operate safely and efficiently and meet the future needs of the business. You’ll contribute specialized expertise in areas such as low-voltage systems, video surveillance, and security systems, and you’ll play a vital role in developing and managing these systems. The role combines technology, planning, and improvement initiatives, where you will develop work processes, plan maintenance, and contribute to long-term investments that enhance the facilities’ availability and efficiency. Together with colleagues from various technical fields, you will contribute to sustainable solutions for the future.

On-call duty and shifts within the First Response operations may be required as agreed.

Your team

You’ll be part of the Electrical Section at Rönnskär and work alongside colleagues with extensive experience in electrical systems, instrumentation, and maintenance. Here, we help each other, share knowledge, and support one another in our daily work. The role involves many points of contact, and you’ll regularly collaborate with electricians, technicians, engineers, IT specialists, and external suppliers to find sustainable solutions for the business.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and manage communication and security systems
• Drive improvements through market monitoring and technological development
• Plan reinvestments in the technology area
• Train and support colleagues on technical issues
• Coordinate external service providers
• Manage asset records in Maximo and ensure spare parts availability

Your Contribution

We’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology who enjoys developing both technology and work processes. You work in a structured and meticulous manner and take responsibility for driving the work forward. You thrive in a role with many points of contact and enjoy collaborating with others. You are eager to share your knowledge and contribute to solving technical challenges and finding sustainable solutions for the business.

Requirements

• High school diploma in electrical, electrical engineering, or equivalent
• Strong IT skills and experience working with digital systems
• Ability to communicate clearly in Swedish and English
• Class B driver’s license

Preferred experience:

• Security systems and low-voltage installations
• CCTV systems
• Radio communication
• Process automation
