Your role:

Our efficient copper open pit mine is home to some of the world's largest machines. We are now looking for a Training Manager for Excavators and Loaders who wants to be part of Boliden Aitik's journey towards creating the conditions for efficient and safe production.

The position includes:

  • Instruct, train and evaluate new and experienced machine operators through classroom and simulator teaching, as well as training on and next to machines.
  • Coordinate education and training programs
  • Design and develop training materials.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and machine operators to identify training needs and develop strategies for skills development.
  • Ensure that machine operators acquire the required skills and knowledge.
  • Coach production instructors

Your team:

You are part of a training team of currently 8 trainers for both autonomous and manual operations.

Together we are responsible for the training of machine operators, and work to create the conditions for efficient and safe production. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other parties, including the section manager, operations manager, supervisors and instructors in Loading and Transport.

You have the ability to take on new challenges and are motivated by continuously developing and optimizing the business and staff. Furthermore, you are flexible and work effectively both independently and in teams. As the role involves collaboration with several parties, it requires a high level of communication skills and the ability to lead groups in a learning environment.

We are looking for you who have:

  • High school education, preferably with a technical or other relevant focus
  • Experience with the excavators and loaders we handle in our business
  • Good computer skills
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Driving license for passenger car

It is meritorious if you have previous training in pedagogy, and if you have experience as a trainer or instructor in the industry.

Strong emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.
