Your role

Rönnskär in Skelleftehamn is one of the world's most efficient copper smelters and also a world leader in electronics recycling. We have a maintenance department consisting of several units that support the production and logistics of the business. In this role, you will work closely with your immediate team, other unit managers, supporting functions, preparers/planners and external suppliers. You will be responsible for the unit's budget, staff and work environment. You will be present on site and work closely with both staff and day-to-day operations. Travel may be required, as well as working in lead-containing environments where personal protective equipment is required.

To succeed in the role, you need to be a self-driven and committed leader who creates participation by listening, inspiring and communicating clearly. You build trust, foster collaboration and have an inclusive and solution-focused approach. You set boundaries when needed to create a safe working environment, and your initiative and drive make you a natural leader in change.

It is meritorious if you have previous experience of a supervisory role and experience of working according to LEAN, or other types of process optimization.
