Your role

As a Welder at the Maintenance Department Excavation and Drilling in Aitik, you work with welding of our excavation and drilling machines, mainly in buckets. We mainly work outdoors in the field, but maintenance work in the workshop may also take place. As a welder, you will be responsible for the maintenance of our welding truck and associated equipment. The tasks include both planned maintenance and handling of acute incidents. All work is carried out in teams of at least two people, and we regularly work closely with other departments. The work requires a strong safety awareness.

Your team

The work group is a light-hearted and happy team consisting of 4 welders and 8 mechanics. We highly value good cooperation and responsibility in our team. We always work at least two by two. We are now looking for two welders to join our team!

We work shifts - K2 - morning, afternoon, followed by a week off. On-call work is possible.

Your contribution

We look for applicants with good communication and collaboration skills. You are careful, responsible and have your own initiative and a desire to develop and deepen your knowledge in the mechanical field.

  • High school education in industry or equivalent
  • Practical experience of welding
  • Communication skills in Swedish and English
  • B driving license

It is an advantage if you have a C driving license, welding license and / or hot work and experience of gas gouging, but not a requirement. It is important that you have a desire to develop, we internally train you in what you lack for the service.
