Your Role

As a Work Environment Developer, you play a key role in developing and strengthening work environment initiatives at Aitik. You’ll work closely with the business and collaborate with managers, employees, and safety representatives to create a safe, sustainable, and well-functioning workplace. By combining analysis, training, and development efforts, you’ll help refine work methods, strengthen the safety culture, and translate workplace safety requirements into practical solutions.

Your Team

You’ll be part of Aitik’s central occupational health and safety department, where employees are responsible for various areas of expertise and work together to create a safe and sustainable workplace. You will work independently in your role and collaborate with managers, employees, safety representatives, and other support functions.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and implement occupational health and safety development projects.
• Support managers and the business in conducting risk assessments and root cause analyses related to occupational health and safety, as well as in systematic occupational health and safety efforts.
• Plan and conduct training sessions.
• Analyze statistics, near-misses, and incidents to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop work methods, procedures, and instructions related to the workplace environment.
• Manage and further develop work methods and provide training on the internal incident reporting system.
• Develop our safety culture initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and other relevant requirements.

Part of the role involves providing occupational safety and health support to Aitik’s support and service departments

Your contribution

As a person, you are analytical and organized, with strong communication skills. You are responsive and supportive in your collaboration with others, while also contributing new perspectives and driving improvements forward. You build trusting relationships, take responsibility for your tasks, and translate analyses and ideas into practical solutions that create value for the business.

Requirements:

• Relevant university or college education, or equivalent experience that has provided you with comparable knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in IT and systems.
• Manual Class B driver’s license.

It is advantageous if you have

• Experience with systematic occupational health and safety work or occupational health and safety development.
• Experience with project management or business development.
• Experience with risk analyses, root cause analyses, or improvement initiatives.
• Experience in industry, mining, manufacturing, or the process industry.
• Experience training, supporting, or coaching others.
• Experience interpreting legal requirements, regulations, or other governing documents.
