Your role:

As Workplace IT Specialist - Workplace Solutions IT Specialist, you are responsible for the operation and development of the client platform as well as line support with a focus on availability, security and performance. You take inventory, handle incidents and requests and deliver high quality support to our users. We work proactively and circularly to meet the needs of the business.

The role means that you ensure that all solutions and working methods comply with Boliden Rönnskär's policies, standards and high demands on IT security and quality.

Your tasks:

  • Provide user support and technical advice
  • Responsible for computer and mobile replacements, new orders and license management
  • Ensure functionality and equipment in conference rooms
  • Install client computers, conference systems and mobile phones
  • Manage supplier contacts and update systems (3Step)
  • Proactively work to prevent operational disruptions and security risks


Your team:

The position is a full-time, permanent position based at Rönnskär. You report to the IT Manager and become part of a small team where we together drive the development of smarter and more efficient Agile methods and working methods. Here, everyday life is characterized by collaboration, team spirit and a genuine commitment - with a common desire to contribute to development.

Your contribution:

We would like you to have a relevant college or university education in IT, computer technology, network technology or similar field. Alternatively, you have built up equivalent skills through work experience.

To succeed in the role you will have:

  • Experience with client platforms, IT operations and incident management
  • Knowledge of networks and IT infrastructure
  • Good understanding of IT security and modern workplace solutions
  • A genuine interest in technology and a willingness to keep up to date in the field

Additional:

  • Previous experience as a workplace technician or IT technician
  • Knowledge of support tools, preferably ServiceNow or similar
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, 3Step or equivalent systems
