Collaboration on Research

INN aims for its research and artistic development work to be relevant for business and society. Many research projects take place in close collaboration with actors in the workplace, and INN is always open to new partners.

How does a research collaboration with INN work?

• INN is a major research institution in Inland Norway and works across a wide range of disciplines. Much of the research is commissioned by external clients or carried out in collaboration with others.

• INN undertakes assignments from businesses, healthcare organizations, and other public institutions. INN’s experience ensures both the quality of the work and the independence that solid research requires.

• Research projects are developed when the client has a need and chooses the theme and research question. Together with INN, a plan is created, and goals for the research are set. The assignments can vary in size and scope.

• The possibility of conducting commissioned research depends on whether INN has staff with relevant expertise available at the time the project is to be carried out.
