Through summer jobs and internships, students have the opportunity to apply their skills in real projects. At the same time, employers gain access to the talents of the future.

Summer jobs are in demand from NTNU students. Many students require professionally relevant practical experience in addition to their studies. This is often solved through a summer job. Professionally relevant summer jobs are also an important gateway to thesis collaboration and further careers.

Part-time jobs that can be combined with studies are also in demand. The same applies to full-time jobs that are specially adapted for students or recent graduates, such as trainee and internship positions

Full-time jobs Here the offers are many and of varying quality. That's why it's particularly important that you work to stand out. Be clear about the academic profile you are looking for and why this particular vacancy is attractive to current students.

Activity

Students are most active at the start of each semester. The main activity of students is in January-March and August-October and coincides with when most career days, company presentations, etc. are organized. In April and November, exam preparations start for the spring and fall semesters respectively. Then it gradually becomes more difficult to reach the students. In June, July and December, activity is low, so if possible we recommend avoiding these periods when contacting us. During Easter, including the week before and after, we clearly see that students relax.

Students apply for all types of assignments throughout the year. On the most attractive courses, students often apply for summer jobs a year in advance, so it's important to be early. The same applies to full-time jobs. February-March is the application deadline for many trainee and internship positions. In the early fall semester, many new students apply for part-time jobs that do not require specific professional expertise.
