As an assistant store manager, you’ll work alongside the store manager to take responsibility for all aspects of the store and, above all, coach the sales associates in their daily work. Your responsibilities as an Assistant Store Manager also include working alongside the Store Manager to:

• Create the best customer experience by actively working on customer interactions every day in collaboration with your colleagues
• Be a committed member of the store’s management team
• Take responsibility for continuous development and improvement in the store—using business planning and the store efficiency program
• Monitor sales and key performance indicators and work to involve all employees
• Plans sales and follows up together with department managers
• Contributes to good teamwork within the group and works with feedback

The position also includes all standard duties for sales associates in the store, such as sales, picking merchandise, merchandising, and working the register.

This is a permanent position at 35 hours per week. We’re open whenever our customers want to shop, so work hours may vary—day, evening, and weekends.

• Experience and expertise in food sales are a plus
• Multilingual skills and experience with or interest in different cultures are a plus
• Basic leadership training or leadership experience is a plus
