COOP Norrbotten has approximately 40 stores throughout the county. The Real Estate and Store Development department is responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining our stores—and in most cases, we also own the properties. We are now looking for a hands-on, solution-oriented employee who wants to help develop our store environments and properties.

In the role of Store Installer/Property Technician, you will be a key player in our operations. You’ll work closely with both project and operations teams and be responsible for implementing and coordinating initiatives that enhance our stores.

You’ll regularly visit the stores to identify areas for improvement and carry out minor renovations, adjustments, and repairs. You’ll also coordinate service, maintenance, and equipment replacement—with a special focus on commercial kitchens—and actively work to improve functionality, the work environment, and the customer experience.

In other words, you are the department’s “eyes, ears, and hands” out in the field and play a key role in simplifying day-to-day operations for our stores.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Planning and executing the installation of store fixtures during renovations and new construction
• Ordering, coordinating, and installing fixtures and equipment
• Coordinating internal and external resources for projects
• Actively staying one step ahead in planning and execution
• Building and maintaining relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other partners

The role also includes property-related tasks, where you will monitor construction projects and contract work, as well as inspect service areas, entrances, and technical systems such as heating. You will participate in SBA work and perform simple maintenance tasks, as well as handle certain administrative duties related to the assignment.

This is a full-time, permanent position. The position is based at the Service Office in Luleå, although some work may be conducted from another location. Travel is primarily by company car.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, assembly, carpentry, or similar hands-on work
• Good physical condition, as heavy lifting is involved
• Class B driver’s license
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight for work
