Are you the one?

Are you ready to set the standard for inventory management in Norway's largest grid company?

The production division in Elvia has a strong ownership of the electrification of society and we make sure that close to two million people have electricity in the socket. The division consists of 300 employees who build, maintain and correct faults in the power grid. Our goal is to ensure a stable power supply and have Norway's lowest grid rent. We are now strengthening the department with someone who will set the direction for inventory management in critical situations - and make a difference when it really counts.

As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a key role in further developing processes, routines and inventory management at our local warehouses. We are in the midst of several exciting projects that you will get to make your mark on, including the establishment of a new central warehouse and the implementation of a digital warehouse management system.

You will be part of a skilled competence environment in warehousing, logistics and purchasing in Hamar, as well as several local warehouse coordinators and an interdisciplinary community that makes a difference for their local community every day. Now we hope you will use your warehouse and logistics experience to take responsibility where order, safety and preparedness meet.

Are you the one who ensures solid warehouse processes in Norway's largest grid company?

Your main areas of responsibility:

  • Responsible for inventory management systems for contingency materials at commission warehouses and equipment stored at warehouse locations
  • Responsible for warehouse structure, warehouse processes, development and implementation that safeguards preparedness capability
  • Follow-up with local warehouse coordinators and product managers
  • Follow-up on the handling of surplus and returned materials in the warehouse, as well as follow-up and development of suppliers' commission warehouses
  • Contributor and resource in the logistics and warehouse team

Who are you?

At Elvia, we are curious about who you are, what environments you thrive in and what you can contribute to our meaningful social mission. That's why we don't want you to check off all the points below before showing interest in the position, but the likelihood that you will thrive with us increases if you recognize yourself in several of the points:

  • Vocational school or bachelor's degree with a profile in warehousing and logistics.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems.
  • Experience in implementing processes, possibly with Lean methodology.
  • Digital competence in order to be an important contributor to the development of digital inventory management.

As a person, you probably thrive best in the role if you recognize that you are:

  • Self-starter. As a subject manager, you get the freedom to make your mark on what our warehouse structure looks like, and this is something that drives you in the planning and implementation of your responsibilities.
  • Team player. You're someone people trust because you're someone who plays well with others by being clear, open and reliable.
  • Structured. Of course I'm structured and well-organized, you think to yourself, because what is an emergency warehouse without structure and order?
  • Accuracy. Standardization work and data quality won't be the same without you who are committed to really good deliveries.

Why join Elvia?

As an employee of Elvia, you will be part of a social and inclusive community where we see people as the main driver of our mission.

  • You will have meaningful and stimulating work assignments with an impact on critical infrastructure for over two million people.
  • You will be part of an interdisciplinary and inspiring work environment that challenges the established
  • You will be part of a company that facilitates flexible solutions in the face of different life situations.
  • It goes without saying that you have proper pension and insurance schemes, mobile phone coverage and support for broadband, fitness subsidies, occupational health services and company sports teams.
  • Recharge your batteries after work with access to several company cabins, season tickets and tickets to cultural and sports events.

We're obviously excited about who you are, and can't wait to tell you why it's rewarding to work at Elvia. That's why we hope you'll give us a good insight into your motivation and experience relevant to the position by answering two questions in the application form. A letter of application is not necessary, but it is nice if you upload your CV and any diplomas/professional certificates.
