To meet the increasing development and electrification of society, we need you to see how we can plan and dimension the power grid optimally for our customers. As a project engineer, your day-to-day work will largely consist of design and analysis in the distribution network, contact with customers, developers, consultants and installers, as well as follow-up of contractors.

You will be responsible for technical pre-planning of customer-initiated projects in the distribution network. This involves engineering and electrical power technical analyses of the network and rough location of facilities, dialog with landowners, as well as obtaining the necessary public and private law permits. You will work with charging operators, household customers, developers and commercial customers, among others. Our customers know a lot and they expect a lot from us on the road to increased electrification - and we will deliver.

You will be part of a competent professional environment with different combinations of backgrounds, both theoretical and practical, which means that we can play well together. You can choose to work in new modern premises at Skøyen in Oslo or Hamar.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Broad range of tasks where you follow the process from a customer need to completed energized plant

  • Assessments in the early phase of conditions such as land use plans, environmental data, cultural heritage, etc.

  • Planning, preparing principle sketches and work descriptions

  • Getting public and private permits

  • Inquiries and procurement in the contractor market

  • Being a point of contact with customers, builders, consultants, public agencies, landowners, contractors and installers

Professional qualifications:

  • Completed vocational school in electrical power or education as an engineer / civil engineer in electrical power or energy planning

  • Experience with engineering and / or project management in electrical subjects

  • Ability to develop good solutions in collaboration with customers and colleagues

  • Good communication skills in Norwegian, both oral and written
