That is why we are now strengthening our data and analytics efforts on our platform and are looking for a data analyst who can help transform both financial and non-financial data into insights, decision support, and more efficient work processes.

As a data analyst, you’ll be a key resource in the effort to turn data into insights and decision support. You will play a role at the intersection of business and technology, where you will help structure, model, and visualize data used in business management, reporting, and analysis. The role will also build capacity and expertise in data and analytics within the company and serve as a driving force in this area.

The position is based in Hamar, and you will be part of the Finance and IT department. Here, you will work closely with subject matter experts within the organization, as well as the head of data and analytics, developers, and other IT resources within the Eidsiva Group. The key responsibilities awaiting you:

• Translate business needs and data collection into effective data products
• Model, make available, and quality-assure data across various data sources
• Develop and refine reports, decision support tools, and visualizations for business management
• Further develop the data platform in collaboration with subject matter experts and IT resources within the Eidsiva Group
• Contribute to digitalization and the more systematic use of data within the organization

• A college degree in technology, computer science, analytics, economics, engineering, or a related field. Extensive relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education
• Experience with modeling, analyzing, visualizing, and making data accessible, and you’re comfortable with Azure, Fabric, Power BI, DBT, Python, SQL, and Claude. Experience with Git and CI/CD is a plus
• Interest in how data is collected, modeled, and used in practice, and enjoys making complex analyses understandable to different audiences
• Analytical, structured, takes responsibility, and gets things done
• You’re curious, proactive, and collaborate well with others to find effective solutions
