At Eidsiva Bioenergi, we develop renewable energy for society and industry by taking what no one wants and using it to make something that everyone wants: heat and electricity. As external environment manager at one of Norway's largest suppliers of district heating, you will lead our work with environmental management and be responsible for our compliance obligations. You will play a key role in our efforts to reduce our impact on the external environment. Our facilities are spread across a wide geography in Inland Norway and Akershus, and we are committed to finding good environmentally efficient solutions for each of our facilities, with a focus on reducing emissions, high renewable share and efficient energy utilization.

Your main responsibilities
Responsibility for setting environmental goals for the business in consultation with the management team.
Responsibility for environmental assurance and reporting of the company's environmental accounts.
Internal control within the external environment by following up compliance assessments and risk analyses on our facilities and systems.
Responsibility for future work on new certifications and re-certifications.
Contribute to various construction and development projects where the external environment is one of several aspects.

You are a structured and accurate DRIVER who likes to work independently and is committed to bringing projects to completion.
You will be part of a smaller department with great ownership of our deliveries, and you see yourself as a team player.
You preferably have experience from environmental management or environmental management, and possibly knowledge of internal control and risk management.
You have relevant technical or economic education; minimum a bachelor's degree. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal qualifications.
You have good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian.
