We are now looking for a Raw Material and Supplier Manager who will help secure the raw material that keeps the wheels turning every single day. In this role, you'll be a key driver in a social mission that's all about secure supply, sustainable choices and good solutions. You will be close to what is happening in an exciting energy world.

As raw material and supplier manager, you will have a key role in ensuring long-term raw material supply for our facilities. You will follow the entire process from relationship building and contracting to quality, logistics and price. The role gives you an opportunity to influence the development of the fuel market, explore new raw material sources and actively contribute to strategies and processes that are important for the energy transition. You will also have a broad interface with colleagues who operate and develop the facilities.

Work location is agreed based on where you belong in Innlandet or north in Akershus. The most important tasks that await you:

• Ensure long-term and efficient access to raw materials such as forest chips, bioproducts wood industry, as well as pellets, oil and gas

• Follow up fuel suppliers with responsibility for relationship building, contracting, quality, volume and price

• Follow up fuel logistics

• Explore new raw material opportunities and contribute to the strategic development of fuel and heat production

• Structure and further develop systems and working methods that provide a better overview, predictability and quality in fuel management

• Further develop the fuel strategy and maintain forecasts for price and availability

• Collaborate closely with colleagues at the plants and buyer on the waste side

Who are you?

You preferably have:

• Experience from forestry, the wood industry or other environments where raw materials, logistics and production are central

• Relevant technical or economic education at bachelor's level or equivalent prior learning

• Documented results from negotiations

• Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian and English

• Takes initiative, drives processes independently and makes things happen

• See commercial opportunities and builds good relationships both internally and externally

• Has analytical skills and quickly understands complex issues within feedstock and fuels

• Is curious, willing to learn and wants to contribute to a joint team with high professional ownership
