As an apprentice at Elvia, you get a safe and quality-assured apprenticeship together with skilled energy installers. We focus on your development by seeing you for who you are. With us, you will get to try your hand at the entire breadth of the energy installation profession.

Did you know that as an apprentice at Elvia, you will be trained in troubleshooting and maintenance of power lines that have a total length of one and a half circles around the globe? Talk about variety and a wide range of assignments that we want you to get really good at. In addition, you'll gain experience in building and operating power grids, as well as troubleshooting cables and transformers. With us, you'll find that you're ready for the professional exam by being part of an inclusive and competent professional environment.

You can apply to several local locations such as Gjøvik, Hamar, Heradsbygd and Trysil. In addition, you can apply to RN station, which is the executing department responsible for the regional network. As an apprentice in RN station, you will be based in Nydal, Heradsbygd or Gjøvik, and you will assist on assignments in substations in our network area, both outdoors and indoors, from steel structures to control systems. Regardless of your location, our goal is for you to gain experience in how the grid is built, operated and maintained.

Qualifications:

• You must have passed an exam on VG2 electrical energy, no later than June 2026

• Through our social mission, we handle critical infrastructure. Our routines therefore require that we conduct a background check when hiring for this position

• You have a class B driver's license, or that you take this as soon as you turn 18 years old
