About the role of CFO in Eidsiva

Eidsiva is looking for a CFO for a central and strategic part of the Group management, with overall responsibility for the Group's accounting and finance area. The role includes responsibility for business controlling, finance, consolidated accounts, governance and risk, accounting services and payroll. The area of responsibility also includes property management and purchasing. The CFO also has overall responsibility for the Group's annual and quarterly reporting, including risk assessments, forecasts and regular reporting to the Audit Committee and Group Board. The role also includes responsibility for the Group's overall external financing, both in the bond market and the bank market. The CFO leads a department consisting of approximately 25 employees.

Responsibilities

  • Have overall responsibility for the Group's economic and financial reporting, including annual and quarterly reporting, auditing and reporting to the Board and owners

  • Be a key strategic sparring partner for the CEO, and the Board of Directors on economic and financial issues

  • Manage and further develop the Group's external financing in the bank and bond markets

  • Ensure good analyses, forecasts and decision-making documentation that support priorities and strategic choices

  • Further develop the Group's financial management, reporting and central management processes

  • Follow up the Group's financial development and contribute to the achievement of financial targets

  • Lead and develop the finance and treasury area, both professionally, operational and organizational

  • Take an active role in group-wide projects and forums within own area of responsibility

  • Contribute to solid value development in Eidsiva owned companies through contributions in the group management and board positions

Qualifications and experience

  • Higher relevant education, preferably at master's degree level, in economics, finance, auditing or equivalent

  • Background from leading finance roles in companies with high complexity and clear management requirements

  • Good understanding of financing and capital markets, including dialogue with the bank and bond market

  • Broad experience of financial management, reporting, forecasting, analysis and business follow-up

  • Knowledge of consolidated financial statements, annual and quarterly reporting, audit processes and reporting to the board and owners

  • Documented ability to further develop finance functions, preferably through digitization, standardization and improvement work

  • Leadership experience from competence-intensive professional environments, with responsibility for creating direction, structure and implementation

  • Experience from larger corporate structures with multiple business areas and complex management needs, infrastructure, telecom, energy, industry or other capital-intensive business will be an advantage

  • Clear and precise communication, also in complex economic and financial issues

  • Strong analytical capacity and a structured approach to prioritization and problem solving

  • High integrity and good understanding of roles in the interaction with group management, board and owners
