Are you the one?

When it comes to operating, developing, and maintaining the power grid, we rely on more than just power lines and technology. We also depend on good jobs, efficient support functions, and driving forces that ensure day-to-day operations run seamlessly.

As an administrative consultant at Elvia, you’ll play a key role in managing our locations and work environments. You’ll follow up with vendors, coordinate activities, handle administrative processes, and help ensure that employees have what they need to do their jobs well.

With us, you’ll enjoy a varied workday with extensive interaction, the opportunity to influence how we work, and an important role in a company with a clear social mission. Through your work, you’ll help ensure that Elvia can deliver critical infrastructure for the benefit of society, people, and the climate.

You’ll be based at our headquarters in Hamar, where you’ll be part of Elvia’s management team and work closely with colleagues in real estate, operations, and administration.

The key responsibilities awaiting you

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the day-to-day operations of our locations and work environments, particularly at our headquarters in Hamar. Among other things, you will:

  • Serve as the point of contact for employees, customers, suppliers, and other partners within your portfolio.

  • Monitor the day-to-day operations of locations and facilities, including supplies, furniture, cleaning, coffee services, energy monitoring, and waste management.

  • Coordinate and plan operations, maintenance, and various operations-related activities.

  • Monitor suppliers, framework agreements, deviations, and orders related to the portfolio.

  • Process invoices, handle financial follow-up, and prepare the basis for invoicing.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of work processes, routines, and services.

Who are you?

At Elvia, we’re curious about who you are, what environments you thrive in, and what you can contribute to our meaningful social mission. That’s why we don’t expect you to check off every item in the description below before expressing interest in the position, but the likelihood that you’ll thrive with us increases if you recognize yourself in much of this:

You enjoy creating structure, paying attention to details, and making sure things get done. Perhaps you have a background in administration, customer service, the hospitality industry, or another role where coordination, customer contact, and follow-up have been an important part of your daily work. The most important thing for us is that you take responsibility, see tasks through to completion, and are motivated by helping others have a smooth and safe workday.

You work methodically, handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing track of the big picture, and are comfortable using digital tools and processing invoices. You communicate well in Norwegian, both verbally and in writing, and interact with people in a professional, solution-oriented, and service-minded manner.

We also believe you’ll thrive with us if you enjoy a varied workday where both small and large tasks are important, and where you get to apply your organizational skills, ability to collaborate, and ability to get things done on a daily basis.

Why join Elvia?

As an employee at Elvia, you’ll become part of a social and inclusive community where we view our people as the most important driving force behind our social mission. With us, you’ll get:

  • Meaningful tasks that help ensure colleagues throughout the organization have a smooth workday

  • You’ll be part of a company that facilitates flexible solutions to accommodate different life situations

  • The opportunity to grow professionally and personally through collaboration, responsibility, and new challenges

  • A competent and inclusive work environment where we learn from one another and bring out the best in each other

  • It goes without saying that you’ll have competitive terms, solid pension and insurance plans, coverage for your cell phone and support for broadband, a fitness allowance, occupational health services, and a subsidized lunch program in a tasteful cafeteria

  • Membership in the company sports club, which offers a wide variety of activities ranging from padel, yoga, kayaking, rock climbing, kiting, and more

  • Recharge after work with access to several company cabins, season passes, and tickets to cultural and sporting events
