At Eidsiva, records and document management play a key role in ensuring transparency, regulatory compliance, and an efficient flow of information within the group. We are now seeking a team leader with solid professional expertise who will play a key role in further developing the records management function and helping us deliver robust and forward-looking services to the entire group.

You will lead the Records Management team, consisting of five dedicated and competent professionals responsible for records management and document handling across the Eidsiva Group, where the Group’s largest subsidiary is subject to the Archives Act and the Public Administration Act. This role offers significant influence over the development of work processes, digitization, and quality in records management.

Document Management works closely with various functional teams within the Group, including the IT department, HR, the Data Protection Officer, and Business and Risk Management to ensure effective document management. The role offers significant opportunities to influence both professionally and organizationally

The primary work location will be Eidsiva’s headquarters in Hamar. However, you should expect to split your working hours between Hamar and Oslo to support team members at both locations

The main responsibilities awaiting you:

  • Lead the Records Management department with personnel responsibility for employees in Hamar and Oslo

  • Further develop the documentation plan, procedures, and governing documents for the records management function

  • Ensure the quality and further development of records management processes and services

  • Drive the digitization and automation of the archives, as well as the development of the document module in the Group’s IFS ERP system

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and assist with record-keeping and other archival tasks

  • Provide advice and support to the organization in the area of records management

  • Ensure the proper handling of requests for access to records and compliance with archival legislation and the Freedom of Information Act

Who are you?
We’re looking for someone who is motivated by developing this field and who thrives at the intersection of management, subject matter expertise, and digital development.

You will likely succeed and thrive in this role if you:

  • Have a relevant college degree. A vocational certificate combined with technical college education may compensate for the educational requirement.

  • Have leadership experience and experience with interdisciplinary collaboration

  • Have solid experience with archives, archival systems, and records management

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Public Administration Act, the Archives Act, and the Freedom of Information Act, and experience handling requests for access to information

  • Have experience with digitization, process improvement, or standardization

  • Communicates clearly and is able to foster engagement and collaboration across the organization

  • Is organized, proactive, and able to translate strategy into practical solutions

Experience with the IFS ERP system is a plus.
