About the role

Caroline is taking the next step within Gällivare Energi and moving on to the role of operations manager. We are therefore now looking for a new operations technician who wants to be part of our shift-working team.

As an operations technician, you work with 11 colleagues and ensure that our production facilities for heat and electricity work safely and efficiently - around the clock. You monitor operations, follow up on deviations and help us deliver stable energy to our customers.

Duties

• Control and monitoring of the plants
• Supervision and rounding
• Sampling
• Loading of fuel with loader
• Readings and ongoing reporting
• Registration and follow-up in maintenance systems
• Simple remedial and preventive maintenance

Who we are looking for

You are careful and take responsibility, and you thrive when working with others. You have a genuine interest in technology and energy and like to find solutions when something needs to be fixed. Work environment and safety are important to you - both for yourself and your colleagues.

Requirements:

• High school education and/or relevant work experience (preferably in energy, process, machine, technology or operation and maintenance)
• Swedish in speech and writing
• B-driving license

Advantageous

• Experience as an operation or maintenance technician in the energy industry
• Experience with maintenance systems (eg.e.g. IDUS)
