Production Manager to Gällivare Energi

Gällivare Energi AB has produced and distributed its own energy for over 40 years. Today we supply district heating to private individuals and companies in Gällivare, Malmberget and Koskullskulle. We are close to our customers and offer security, simplicity and high availability. Our goal is clear - our district heating will be completely climate neutral.

The role of Production Manager

As Production Manager, you will lead our new production department. The department is responsible for all of the company's production facilities and includes operations, maintenance, projects, environment and fuel management. A central part of the role is to drive the development of our production facilities and to lead production-related projects linked to the upcoming transition towards increased use of industrial residual heat. The role is part of the company's management team and is directly subordinate to the CEO.

Examples of duties:

• Responsible for the department's operations, budget and work environment.
• Lead and develop the staff through recruitment, skills development and employee interviews.
• Plan and lead the department's meetings.
• Drive development and investment projects linked to the company's production facilities.
• Responsible for production-related projects carried out as a result of the ongoing transition towards increased use of industrial residual heat.
• Have overall responsibility for the department's work on fuel supply and fuel management.
• Contribute to the company's strategic development, interact with industry and participate in contract negotiations

About you

We are looking for you who have a technical education in energy, operations, maintenance or equivalent experience. You have previous management experience from similar operations and enjoy taking responsibility for people, finances and development.
