Business description

Hedskolan is a f-6 school with an adapted primary school that is 3-parallel with approx. 400 students and 100 employees. We are centrally located in Gällivare municipality with walking distance to the sports hall, bath house, etc. Hedskolan has a well-structured working method for collegial learning that touches all parts of the curriculum. We can thus offer continuous skills development for driven process managers, PAX and IBIS instructors and IT educators.

Job duties

The task of a house substitute is to step in and substitute for absent staff at the school; as a teacher, student resource, etc. You usually start from a ready-made lesson plan and the assignment is very varied. We strive that, as far as possible, you only cover absences at primary or middle school and in the afternoons at leisure centers.

Qualifications

As a minimum, high school qualification and having work with children/students in different contexts is an advantage. We are looking for you who have a present and responsive approach to students' various needs, are a clear leader and have good cooperation skills. You are independent, responsible and easily take your own initiative. We develop our work through educational conversations and collegial learning and see it as a strength to be able to help each other to dare to be curious about new ways of working.
