Business description

Myranskolan is a f-6 school with about 150 students and an after-school department, located in Koskullskulle. At Myranskolan we work with the Gällivare model, which means that in each class in grades 1-6 there is a teacher responsible for teaching and a class mentor. The after-school program is a complement to the school where students' abilities are developed through various forms of expression and based on the students' interests.

Duties

You are responsible for planning after-school activities. You allocate tasks to class mentors and others who also work with you. You actively participate in the school's joint development work together with colleagues inside and outside your own school.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a license as a teacher in after-school care. You have a present and responsive approach to the different needs of students, are a clear leader and have good collaboration skills. You are independent, responsible and easy to take your own initiatives.

We develop our work through pedagogical conversations and collegial learning and see it as a strength to be able to help each other to dare to be curious about new ways of working. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

At the time of employment, a current extract from the police's criminal record must be presented.
