Business description
Home care consists of seven units: North, South, Near, East, Support Unit, Night Unit and Resource Unit. All units, except the rural units, are co-located on Upplagsvägen together with home care nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
Through individually needs-assessed efforts, we strengthen the individual's ability to cope with their everyday lives and enable continued living in a safe and familiar environment.
Work tasks
We are looking for you who want to contribute with joy, care and security to the users in their home environment. We always have the users in focus and attach great importance to visiting efforts being carried out with high quality. Your tasks involve efforts in the form of service and personal care based on the quality goals that the business has, where planning, follow-up, evaluation and cooperation are important elements. The assignment also includes contact management as well as administrative tasks such as documentation, scheduling and representative roles linked to various work areas.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a nursing education or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience or interest in working in home care, have a positive outlook on life and are flexible and careful. Interacting and being helpful are qualities we value highly.
Computer and mobile phone are used as work tools and it is desirable that you have good digital skills. Your duties include documenting and communicating with various parties, which requires you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
Driving license is a requirement.

Working hours/Duration
Full-time, Temporary employment. Working days/evenings/weekends Probationary period may apply.
