Business description:

Älvgården is a special accommodation for the elderly located at Gällivare hospital with proximity to scenic surroundings and the hometown area. Älvgården plan 6 and 7 has 68 beds divided into four departments, Ritsem, Sjöfallet, Akka and Sarek.

Arbetsuppgifter:

As an assistant nurse, you have the role of contact person and are responsible for ensuring that the user has a good quality of life by meeting individual needs based on the implementation plans that are drawn up and the guidelines and objectives of the business. You are a support in everyday life for the user and help with what the person needs help with such as medicine, hygiene, dressing/undressing and socializing. The assignment as an assistant nurse also includes some administrative tasks such as social documentation and orders of goods for the unit.

Qualifications:

Three-year nursing program, assistant nurse training, other education that is considered equivalent or work experience in the field. We are looking for you who are responsible, flexible and easy to cooperate, you have knowledge in the field, are positive and have great interest and commitment that you find easy to translate into practical actions in the unit.

You should also be able to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
