Description of operations
Home care consists of seven units: North, South, Near, East, Support Unit, Night Unit and Resource Unit. All units, except the rural units, are co-located on Upplagsvägen together with the home care nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
Through individually assessed needs, we strengthen the individual's ability to cope with their everyday lives and enable continued living in a safe and familiar environment.
Work tasks
As a junior nurse in the Night Unit, you have an important role in creating security when it is needed most.
You work with personal care and other granted interventions in the individual's home. The work involves planning, implementing, following up and documenting interventions according to the organization's quality goals. You work closely with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the best possible care. The night unit is responsible for planned night interventions throughout the urban area and responds to social alarms throughout the municipality. The work is usually done in teams of two, but lone working may occur. Since we operate over a large geographical area, you need to feel confident driving a car, all year round. Computer and mobile phone are used as a working tool and it is desirable that you have good computer skills. Your duties include documenting and communicating with various parties, which requires you to have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Qualifications
We are looking for you who
- Have nursing education or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience or a genuine interest in working in home care.
- Are flexible, careful and have a professional and respectful approach.
- Can express yourself well in speech and writing in the Swedish language.
- Have good digital skills.
- Thrive with both teamwork and independent responsibility.
- Driving license is a requirement.
- Strong emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Gällivare municipality is an administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage.

Tillsvidareanställning, nattdienstgöring 34,33 timmar/vecka. Employment rate 100% Probationary period may apply.
