Älvgården is a special accommodation for the elderly located at Gällivare hospital with close proximity to scenic surroundings and the hometown area. Älvgården plan 7 department Sjöfallet has 15 beds.

Arbetsuppgifter

As an assistant nurse during night work, you are required to be able to work independently and have extensive experience in the field. You are responsible for ensuring that the user has a good quality of life by meeting individual needs based on the implementation plans that are drawn up and the guidelines and objectives of the business. You are a support in everyday life for the user and help with what the person needs help with such as administering medicine, helping the user with hygiene, dressing/undressing and socializing. The assignment as an assistant nurse or care assistant also includes some administrative tasks such as documentation and scheduling.

Qualifications

Three-year nursing program, assistant nursing education, other education that is considered equivalent or work experience in the field. We are looking for you who are responsible and easy to cooperate, you have knowledge in the field, are positive and have great interest and commitment that you find easy to translate into practical actions in the unit.

Strong emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working hours/Duration

Full-time permanent employment.

Full-time every other weekend.
