Business description
Home care consists of seven units: North, South, Near, East, Support Unit, Night Unit and Resource Unit. All units, except the rural units, are co-located on Upplagsvägen together with home care nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
Through individually needs-assessed efforts, we strengthen the individual's ability to cope with their everyday lives and enable continued living in a safe and familiar environment.
Job description
As a junior nurse in Home Care South, you provide service, personal care and social support to users in their own homes. You will provide joy, security and be a responsive contact person. Our users have individual needs and wishes, and we strive to match staff as far as possible based on this through planning within the work group.
The work includes planning, implementation, follow-up and documentation of efforts according to the organization's quality goals. You work closely with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the best possible care. The assignment also includes ombudsman roles within the team.
Computer and mobile phone are used as work tools and it is desirable that you have good computer skills. Your duties include documenting and communicating with various parties, which requires you to have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Qualifications
We are looking for you who
- Have nursing education or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience or a genuine interest in working in home care.
- A flexible, careful and have a professional and respectful approach.
- Can express yourself well in speech and writing in the Swedish language.
- Have good digital skills.
- Thrive with both teamwork and independent responsibility.
- Driving license is a requirement.
Strong emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Gällivare municipality is an administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage.
Working hours/Duration
Employment rate 100%. Working days/evenings/weekends
Full-time employment. Probationary period may apply.
