The business has 19 places that are assessed for assistance. The decisions concern relief, alternating care, further investigations or waiting for special housing. This also means that the variation of both in/out moves usually varies faster than other municipal activities. Work tasks
The short-term unit is a varied workplace and as a nurse you get the chance to use your skills in different ways as you work based on the individual's assistance decision to implement the efforts. The tasks include being able to interact with users, relatives, staff and other professionals such as nurses and rehab staff. We see opportunities for you to be responsible for most delegated tasks from the relevant profession. In addition to medication delegation, this may involve wound dressing, catheterization, sampling, tube feeding, leg wrapping and much more. The assignment as an assistant nurse includes, among other things, documentation, drawing up implementation plans, ombudsman roles and being a contact person.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with a three-year nursing education, assistant nurse education or other education that the employer considers equivalent. We are looking for you who have experience of working in health and social care, are easy to work with, responsible and independent. You should be able to express yourself well in speech and writing in the Swedish language. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Under the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish.
