Myrans Preschool has four classes with 18 children in each group, ages 1–5. The preschool is beautifully situated in a quiet residential area with a large playground featuring great play areas and a forest right outside the fence.

We are now looking for a childcare worker at Myrans Preschool!

Job Responsibilities

As a childcare worker, you will work with the team to create a safe and enriching educational environment for the children in your preschool’s class. The curriculum guidelines outline your responsibilities within the team regarding the development, monitoring, and evaluation of the program and educational activities. As a childcare worker, you’ll be part of a team and participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational activities offered to the children. In collaboration with the work team, the children should be given new challenges and receive support and stimulation in their social development.

Qualifications

Experience working in a preschool, childcare training, or other experience deemed appropriate by the employer. Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Under the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is considered an asset when applying for a position with Gällivare Municipality.

Work Hours/Contract Duration

Full-time, permanent position.
