Business description

The position is located in the Technology Department within the Public Works and Technology Administration. The department is responsible for providing residents with services in the areas of water / sewage, streets, traffic, fiber and waste management. As a Construction Worker, you are part of the technical department's VA unit. We are about 20 people who work together to develop the operation and maintenance of waterworks and treatment plants in Gällivare municipality. The unit is characterized by broad expertise and a team spirit based on the values of Gällivare municipality. Development issues are important to us with the goal of further strengthening Gällivare as an attractive municipality to live and work in. We work continuously with improvements in work processes and in collaboration with internal and external actors. You will be part of a team that works to ensure that our municipality is kept in a good and safe condition.

Duties

You will primarily work in the field of water and sewage with maintenance and service of the water network. You will also perform other tasks in the municipal technical area. Emergency work is included.

Qualifications

VS fitter or other education / experience that we consider equivalent. Practical experience as a VS fitter or construction work is an advantage. As a person you are positive and quality conscious. You have the ability to take a holistic view and think it is natural to have good customer relations. You enjoy working both alone and in groups and are no stranger to helping in other professional areas.

B driving license is a requirement.

Tillary employment, 100 %. Probationary period 6 months may be applied.
