Are you the dedicated employee we’re looking for?

We need more firefighters for our four shift teams. At Gällivare Rescue Services, you’ll work as one of five team members in a small organization. We cover a large geographical area, ranging from mines to mountains and vast mountain forests. Most of the municipality’s residents live in the town of Gällivare, where our full-time station is also located, centrally situated in the town center. In our villages, we have five volunteer fire departments that assist us by being first on the scene and providing initial assistance.

We handle approximately 300 emergency calls per year.

We collaborate with our neighboring municipalities and the industrial fire departments in the area.

Working in the municipality of Gällivare is characterized by job satisfaction, commitment, and respect for the equal value of all people. At Gällivare Rescue Services, it goes without saying that everyone should feel accepted and enjoy their work, regardless of origin or gender.

Gällivare Rescue Service strives to be an attractive workplace where employees are given opportunities for personal development.
