You are responsible for personal assistance and the mobile team that carries out efforts in personal assistance, companion and relief services. In personal assistance, the work is about providing support based on each individual's needs and wishes. The mobile team offers flexible help at home and is available when needs change. As head of unit, you lead with commitment, trust and warmth - and become part of a management team that works together to meet the needs of the future in the functional support area.

Duties

You are directly subordinate to the head of department and are part of the department's management team, where cooperation and exchange of experience are at the center. You have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, finances and work environment, and work to develop quality, working methods and participation. Together with your colleagues, you drive the work forward with a focus on security, respect and good service. As head of unit for personal assistance and the mobile team, you have a meaningful and varied assignment. You lead the business that offers support through personal assistance, companionship and relief services - efforts that make a real difference in people's everyday lives!

Qualifications

You have a relevant college or university education, preferably in social work, as well as experience of leadership in LSS, social services or similar activities and are passionate about leadership and development. Other experience that the employer deems appropriate may also be relevant.

Good computer skills and very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, are a prerequisite. Gällivare municipality is an administrative municipality for Sámi, Meänkieli and Finnish under the Minority Languages Act. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage.

Working hours/Duration

We offer a permanent full-time position with a flextime agreement. Probationary period may apply.
