Socialförvaltningen is looking for hourly workers who can work when regular staff are absent. Interventions are provided around the clock, every day of the year, to people who need support in their daily lives. The Social Administration has its activities in Home Care (home care), Care and Care (housing for the elderly) and in Functional Support (eg. group housing, daily activities, p-ass, LSS and SOL).
As an hourly worker, you are booked via Time Care Pool and you receive requests for availability that you enter into the system yourself. Availability at least two days a week is desirable. There is also the possibility of longer temporary work on schedule.
We always take references, preferably from a previous manager or supervisor. You may be required to provide an extract from the police criminal record. If you do not have EU citizenship, you must present a valid work and residence permit.
You need to present a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare if you are a licensed nurse to get the nurse title in your employment. You need to show certificates if you have education and service certificates if you have previous experience in healthcare.
Work tasks
You work according to the user's implementation plan. The tasks are varied and you should always provide good care based on the individual's needs.
Qualifications
You who apply should be genuinely interested in working with people.
We are looking for you with upper secondary education in health and social care or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Or you who have experience of working in support, service, care and care. We value that you have a good ability to cooperate and a positive drive in the meeting with the people who need support and help. You are flexible, responsible and patient, you should be at least 18 years old.
To do the job, sufficient knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required.
It is important that you have good digital skills, partly so that you can document in users' records according to the Social Services Act. Many of our workplaces require staff to have medication authorization and the training for it is both practical and digital.
Strong emphasis will be placed on personal competencies.
Requirements
Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
