Hello! Are you our house substitute for Fjälldalens preschool?

Fjälldalens preschool is a preschool with six departments where nature and the mountain are close by and where you as an educator get a unique opportunity to be involved in shaping the preschool of the future. The preschool opened in January 2025 and we are now looking for you who want to step in among a wonderful bunch of colleagues and build a long-term work at the preschool. In the preschool, we meet our children in their first education and in their first step in lifelong learning and there you as an educator are important.

Duties

Working as a house substitute means that you replace absent staff, for example in the event of illness or care of children. As a house substitute, your days at the preschool look different and you will meet all our departments and teams as well as the preschool's 108 children. The work is varied and flexible where you, together with the educators at the preschool, collaborate to do the best for our children and to offer them a fun day at the preschool.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained childcare worker or you who have good experience of working in preschool and want to work as a house substitute at Fjälldalens preschool.

It is important:

• that you are familiar with our governing document, the Curriculum for Preschool (Lpfö18),
• that you are a confident and clear leader, have the ability to take your own initiative, are positive and have faith in children's different competencies,
• that you are concerned about trusting relationships with children and guardians and that you have good collaboration skills,
• that you use image support and TAKK (sign as alternative and complementary communication).

Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for the position. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
