Hello! Are you our house substitute for Maria preschool?

Maria preschool is located in central Gällivare close to the library, swimming pool and museum.

Maria preschool has organized the activities in age-divided groups. The preschool consists of 2 buildings with separate courtyards. In one building there are 3 departments with children aged 1-2 years. In the other building there are 5 departments with children in age-divided groups aged 3-5 years. At Maria preschool, we work in 3, 4, and 5-year-old groups, which means that the teams work together across the departments and give the children the opportunity to explore and discover different learning environments.

Tasks

Working as a house substitute means that you replace absent staff, for example in the event of illness or care of children. As a house substitute, your days at the preschool look different and you will meet all our departments and teams as well as the preschool's 126 children. The work is varied and flexible where you, together with the educators at the preschool, collaborate to do the best for our children and to offer them a fun day at the preschool.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained childcare worker or you who have good experience of working in preschool and want to work as a house substitute at Maria preschool.

It is important:

• that you are familiar with our governing document, Läroplan för förskolan (Lpfö18),
• that you are a confident and clear leader, have the ability to take your own initiative, are positive and have faith in children's different competencies,
• that you are concerned about trusting relationships with children and guardians and that you have good collaboration skills.

Very good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing, is a prerequisite for the service. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and personal suitability.

In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
