Description of Operations

Enens nursing and care home consists of the Regnbågen and Daggdroppen units. The meals and snacks served in the units are prepared in the kitchen.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities:

Be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.

Daily operational planning; digital orders may be required.

Dishwashing and facility cleaning.

Reheating lunch and dinner, as well as preparing snacks

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and has a friendly demeanor toward residents, staff, and others within the organization. Experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or institutional food service setting is preferred. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Under the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is considered an asset when applying for a position with Gällivare Municipality. 

Work Hours/Duration

Fixed-term, part-time position (approx. 70%), from August 2026 to February 28, 2027
